Principal Software Engineer TS/SCI w/Poly

Purpose and Impact

Amentum is seeking a motivated analytic developer to support the Technology Application & Integration mission. The engineer will work closely with mission stakeholders to capture requirements and create innovative analytics and deploy solutions to customer-supported tools to automate and enable data and metadata analysis.

Essential Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with customers to develop analytics based off artifacts, enrich data with various corporate sources, summarize data, and formulate results for downstream analytics and queries.

Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• Creatively leverage disparate data to fill knowledge gaps in user activities, collection efforts, and technology discovery.
• Proficiency with object-oriented languages (JAVA, Python, C++) and experience with Jupyter Notebooks, GHOSTMACHINE, and Query Time Analytics.
• Proficient with Elasticsearch and Elasticsearch clusters.

Minimum Years of Experience

A Doctoral degree plus 7 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree plus 9 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree plus 11 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree plus 13 years of relevant experience, or a High School diploma/GED plus 15 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of AWS, customer corporate tools and data repositories

Compensation Details

$200,000 - $255,000
