Principal Software Engineer, Mobile

This role will lead technical initiatives focused on scalable systems, platform reliability, and meaningful business transformation. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Own the technical vision for the mobile platform from start to finish
• Design, build, and improve systems for iOS and Android apps
• Build tools to enhance mobile engineering efficiency
• Identify opportunities for shared systems across mobile teams
• Mentor and guide mobile engineers and support team building
• Contribute to mobile strategy and resource planning
• Define and track success metrics for mobile initiatives

Qualifications

• 15+ years of industry experience in mobile applications development
• 10+ years in senior engineering roles with API and tool design
• Expertise in native iOS (Swift) and/or Android (Kotlin) development
• Experience architecting mobile apps for scale and modular design
• Strong background in mobile performance engineering and observability tools
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and mobile release automation
• B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Pay

$263,800 – $395,600 annually
