Responsibilities
- Shape the technical vision for the company’s build, test, and deploy processes
- Drive architectural decisions in deployment pipeline design and developer ergonomics
- Design and develop AI-powered QA agents to enhance deployment reliability
- Transform ambiguous infrastructure challenges into effective scalable solutions
- Lead initiatives toward increasing deployment frequency and reducing bottlenecks across the pipeline
- Collaborate with engineering teams to align release engineering with the company’s future needs
Qualifications
- 5-7 years experience in large-scale distributed systems, especially in CI/CD and release engineering
- Strong architectural design skills focused on simplicity and clarity
- Experience operating at a hyperscale or platform-provider level
- Proven ability to lead complex technical projects with significant organizational impact
- Hands-on approach to building and shipping software, not just overseeing from afar
- Quick adaptability to unfamiliar technologies, forming opinions based on solid principles
