Principal Software Engineer - Core Platform Integration

Responsibilities

• Own the migration architecture and reference patterns for acquired teams
• Lead Architecture Review Boards to distinguish between blockers and plan accordingly
• Define and prioritize dual backlogs for IPE platform and acquisitions
• Bridge communication between acquired-company leaders and IPE
• Establish standards for regional architecture to avoid future lock-in
• Establish best practices and templates for future onboarding
• Mentor senior engineers and participate in design reviews

Qualifications

• 12+ years of software and infrastructure engineering experience, proficient in AWS and GCP
• Familiarity with AI tools to enhance code understanding and documentation
• Fluent in Go and Python; experienced in debugging Kubernetes operators
• Proven experience in M&A or large-scale platform migrations, with completion
• Mastery of Kubernetes at scale and container networking with telemetry
