Principal Software Engineer - Cloud Services

Responsibilities

• Define how we implement innovative automation and support solutions, enabling teams to operate seamlessly and deliver impact at global scale.
• Drive operational excellence for secure, scalable secrets management, artifact management.
• Be a technical leader on various projects across the platform, and be a major contributor of the entire platform’s architecture.
• Influence architecture and technical direction while empowering teams to own detailed design and implementation decisions.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in distributed systems design and development.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field involving coding (e.g., physics or mathematics), or equivalent experience.
• Possess advanced programming skills to build scalable backend services and microservices architecture. A specialist programmer in Java, Go and/or C++.
• Specialist in secrets management, OCI registry, artifact management at enterprise scale.
• Highly motivated with strong interpersonal skills, able to work successfully with multi-functional teams, principles and architects and coordinate effectively across organizational boundaries and geographies.
• A track record of successful technical leadership and large-scale architecture that impacted critical projects.
• Switch effectively between long-term strategic management and near-term tactical management.

Qualifications

• Experience with Large-scale Distributed System and cloud multi-tenancy.
• Experience with Secrets management, SPIFFE, SPIRE, Supply-chain security, agent/AI platforms and artifact management platforms at enterprise scale.
• A go-getter attitude to investigate and understand technical requirements for open-ended problems.
• Worked in AI infrastructure, accelerated computing, model distribution, or regulated enterprise software delivery.

Benefits

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 272,000 USD - 431,250 USD. You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
