Job Title: Principal Software EngineerJob Description The Principal Software Engineer leads platform architecture development and provides technical leadership in defining high-level system design. This role is responsible for creating architectural roadmaps, guiding engineering teams, and ensuring adherence to best practices. Responsibilities Develop modular and scalable software platform architectures.Define high-level design standards.Oversee development to maintain consistency with architecture guidelines.Lead the architectural development of new iOS-based embedded products. Essential Skills Proficiency in object-oriented programming.Experience in architectural development.Expertise in C++ and embedded software development.Familiarity with AWS and Linux.Knowledge of artificial intelligence. Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.Over 15 years of experience in software architecture and development.More than 7 years of technical leadership experience.Strong understanding of Linux-based systems. Work Environment You will have the opportunity to lead the architectural development of a new platform currently being sold, involving building an iOS infrastructure to support build, test, and deployment. You will also support applications on their platform as it's deployed on aircraft. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Brea, CA.
