Principal Software Developer

Responsibilities

• Ensure well-designed, scalable systems for new initiatives
• Analyze existing architecture to improve performance and reduce redundancy
• Identify recurring issues and create resolution plans
• Drive system reliability and performance enhancements
• Enhance development practices including design reviews and testing
• Conduct architectural deep-dives while mentoring team members
• Contribute towards a high-performance culture within the organization

Qualifications

• 15+ years of software development experience
• 5+ years in a technical leadership role across teams
• 2+ years managing architecture for teams of 35+ engineers
• Experience building scalable, cloud-based business-critical systems
• Strong background in multiple technology stacks (Go, PHP, Java, RoR, Python)
• Exceptional communication skills for technical discussions
• Prominent ability to facilitate decision-making in diverse team scenarios
