Principal Software Architect

About the role

This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a technology-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Build reliable AI systems in production focused on performance and quality
• Establish responsible AI practices around privacy and data handling
• Define and implement architectural changes incrementally to reduce risk
• Collaborate with stakeholders to set architectural priorities
• Build, fix, and improve high-value code
• Train team members on new techniques and sound practices
• Guide the team to write code with confidence

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in technology-related field or equivalent certification
• At least 10 years of engineering experience, with 7 years in software architecture
• Proficient in multiple coding languages including React, PHP, and MySQL
• Experience with end-to-end software development lifecycle and tools like version control
• Knowledgeable in security best practices, particularly OWASP Top 10
• Experienced in deploying and provisioning solutions with best practices
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Pay

$130,000 – $160,000 annually
