Principal Site Activation Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee global site activation activities from study start-up through site readiness
• Develop and execute country and site activation strategies
• Manage timelines, risks, and deliverables across multiple studies or programs
• Partner closely with Clinical Operations, Regulatory Affairs, Contracts & Budgets, and external stakeholders
• Drive performance metrics and ensure activation milestones are achieved
• Provide guidance and oversight to Site Activation Managers and study teams
• Support issue escalation and resolution for complex start-up challenges
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, SOPs, and sponsor expectations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Health Sciences, or a related field
• 8+ years of progressive experience in Site Activation, Study Start-Up, Clinical Operations, or related clinical research roles
• Proven experience managing global studies and complex clinical trial programs
• Strong understanding of regulatory submissions
• Strong understanding of Ethics Committee / IRB processes
• Strong understanding of site contracts and budgets
• Strong understanding of country-level start-up activities
• Strong understanding of clinical trial regulations and GCP
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders across multiple regions
• Strong project management, problem-solving, and client-facing skills
• Experience managing timelines, risks, and deliverables in a fast-paced global environment

Pay

Salary Range: $97,300.00 - $170,300.00. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.
