Key Responsibilities

  • Architect end-to-end robotic systems integrating sensing, perception, planning, and actuation.
  • Lead the development of multimodal sensor fusion solutions combining RGB vision, depth sensing, and force/torque/tactile sensing.
  • Define system architectures for vision-guided manipulation, dexterous robotic hands, autonomous motion, and robot-environment interaction.
  • Partner with AI, controls, firmware, hardware, and mechanical teams to develop real-time perception-to-action architectures.
  • Drive robot hardware/software co-design across sensors, embedded processing, communication networks, motor drives, and actuators.
  • Lead system integration, validation, and field testing of advanced robotic platforms.
  • Mentor multidisciplinary engineering teams and drive alignment across functions.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience developing and deploying commercial robotic systems.
  • Strong systems engineering skills spanning hardware, software, sensing, controls, and mechanical integration.
  • Deep background in robotic perception, sensor fusion, and intelligent control.
  • Experience integrating RGB cameras, depth sensors, force/torque/tactile sensors, and motor drives and encoders.
  • Demonstrated success building vision-guided or autonomous robotic systems.
  • Experience with robotic manipulation, robotic hands, collaborative robots, or humanoid systems.
  • Working knowledge of NVIDIA Jetson platforms, computer vision, embedded systems, and edge AI.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver complex robotic platforms from concept to deployment.

Minimum Qualifications

  • M.S. or Ph.D. in Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of industry experience developing robotic, automation, or autonomous systems.
  • Experience designing and integrating complex systems involving sensing, embedded computing, control, and actuation.
  • Strong understanding of robotic perception, sensor fusion, control systems, and system integration.
  • Demonstrated success delivering robust systems from prototype through field deployment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing vision-guided robotic manipulation systems.
  • Expertise in multimodal sensor fusion architecture.
  • Experience with NVIDIA Jetson, multi-core MCU/NPU platforms, Isaac Sim, or related robotics frameworks.
  • Background in robotic hands, manipulators, humanoid robots, mobile robots, or autonomous machines.
  • Familiarity with motor control, servo systems, BLDC/PMSM drives, and power electronics.
  • MCU motor-control expertise: advanced timers, center-aligned PWM, ADC-injected sampling, DMA, capture/compare, and fault handling; interrupt latency management and fixed-point math.
