Principal Resource Geologist

For our client, we are seeking a Principal Resource Geologist to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space. This role will lead resource geology efforts that support mineral projects from early interpretation through estimation and reporting. You will develop geological models, construct block models, and help ensure technical work is ready for financing, due diligence, and other strategic decisions. The position also partners closely with multidisciplinary teams and plays an important role in guiding project execution and business development support. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $150,000 – $200,000 annually Responsibilities Develop geological models and interpretations Construct block models for resource and reserve estimates Prepare NI 43-101 technical reports or international equivalents Conduct due diligence reviews for project financing Manage projects and lead geological teams Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on geological findings Prepare proposals and support business development initiatives Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Geology or Geological Engineering 15-20+ years of minerals exploration, operations, and resource estimation experience Certification as a Qualified Person (QP) Proficiency in 3D mine modeling software such as Leapfrog or Vulcan Expertise in geostatistics and estimation methods Authorship or co-authorship of NI 43-101 technical reports Strong project management skills for large-scale projects Benefits Comprehensive medical and dental coverage 401(k) retirement account with company matching Generous PTO and 10 paid holidays Company-paid life insurance and disability coverage Emphasis on professional growth and career advancement opportunities Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
