Overview Job Description We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated neuroscientist with strongdrug discoveryexpertise to join our Discovery Psychiatry team. The successful candidate willapplydrugdiscoveryprinciples into exploratory through late-stagediscovery programs and integrateknowledgeacrossin vitroand in vivo electrophysiological approaches. Candidatemusthave a strong understanding ofneural circuits,multimodalneurophysiologicalmethodologiesandtranslationalutility. This role is an exciting opportunity to supportpsychiatry research fromtarget validation,compound profiling,through clinical development in adynamic, collaborativedrugdiscovery environment. Key Responsibilities EstablishDrug Discoveryframework in PsychiatryportfolioContribute to the development and implementation ofresearchworkflows thatintegratecomplex multimodal datasetsEnsure alignment of development anddiscoverywith broader cross-functional program team goalsSupport strategic decision-making in psychiatry drug discoveryProvide scientific guidance and mentoring to junior scientists and research associates Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Science related field with 16 years of related work; Masters Degree Science or PharmD with 14 years of related work; PhD in Science or related field with 8 years of related work experience.Industry experience within early discoveryfor PsychiatryDemonstrated experience with neurophysiologyand/orfunctionalapproaches, including experience in the design and execution ofstudies investigatingsynaptic and circuitmodulationrelevant to psychiatric indicationsStrong ability to work in cross-functional teams and effectively communicate scientific findings to both technical and non-technical audiences Desired Qualifications Experience building translational frameworks or predictive approaches for functional biology data Additional Information Applicable only to applicants applying to a position in any location with pay disclosure requirements under state orlocal law: The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Companybelieves ingood faith it will pay for this role at the timeof this posting based on the job grade for this position.Individualcompensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, andwemayultimatelypaymore or less than the posted range.
