Principal Research Scientist, Evidence & Strategy

For a leader in the healthcare space, this role drives strategic priorities, executive-level problem solving, and cross-functional execution on initiatives that matter most to the business. You will partner with senior leaders and teams across the organization to clarify priorities, coordinate complex work, and turn strategic decisions into measurable action. Location: Remote – US-based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Perform statistical analysis on large patient or claims databases
• Design analytical studies and health economic models
• Contribute to proposal development and project planning
• Independently manage research workflows
• Collaborate with analytics teams to introduce client innovations

Requirements

• BA/BS or higher in a related field such as computer science, economics, or data science
• 10+ years of experience in SAS or SQL programming
• Experience analyzing large pharmacy and medical claims databases
• Proficient in data management techniques including cleaning and editing
• Strong knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and econometrics
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Pay

$168,000 – $215,000 annually
