About the role
Act as a lead reliability authority within Tower Semiconductor, providing expert guidance across the organization. Develop and lead the implementation of reliability qualification plans for established platforms such as BCD and RF-SOI, as well as new process technologies such as silicon photonics. Serve as a technical liaison with business units across Tower Semiconductor, proactively guiding device development with a strong focus on design for reliability. Serve as a technical liaison with Tower's PDK and Modeling teams on topics such as aging and SOA (Safe Operating Area).
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead the implementation of reliability qualification plans for established platforms such as BCD and RF-SOI, as well as new process technologies such as silicon photonics.
- Serve as a technical liaison with business units across Tower Semiconductor, proactively guiding device development with a strong focus on design for reliability.
- Serve as a technical liaison with Tower's PDK and Modeling teams on topics such as aging and SOA (Safe Operating Area).
- Drive continuous improvement by integrating insights and lessons learned from prior technology generations, while proactively conducting comprehensive risk assessments.
- Analyze failures to identify potential root causes, collaborating closely with R&D and Fab Engineering teams to develop and implement effective, lasting solutions.
Requirements
- Must Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics required; Master's or Ph.D. preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the current position is required.
- Familiarity with semiconductor fabrication processes.
- Strong ability to work independently.
- Good Communication skills.
