About the role
The Principal Radiation Effects Engineer will participate in and lead the development of testing requirements, test execution, and analysis of results from radiation testing on electronic and microelectronic parts and sub-systems. They will also work collaboratively with teams of engineers and scientists to achieve integrated outcomes.

Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship
- A master’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Condensed Matter Physics, or Nuclear Engineering, or a bachelor’s degree with additional years of experience in lieu of advanced degree
- 10-15 years’ experience performing testing, analysis, and simulations supporting radiation hardening and qualification of electronic devices and systems, as well as testing a variety of electronics at accelerators, reactors, and pulse power facilities and utilizing the dosimetry and other diagnostics employed at these facilities
- Experience in RF board design, grounding and shielding, high-frequency and low noise measurement techniques, analog and digital device testing, and parametric semiconductor device measurements
- Familiarity with MIL-HNDBK-814 and MIL-STD-883, radiation qualification and hardening techniques, radiation transport codes, electrical circuit design and analysis, waveform analysis, automated integrated circuit test equipment, instrument control software, space and nuclear radiation environments
Pay
$201,000.00 - $212,000.00 per year

8-hour shift, Monday to Friday
