What You’ll Do
- Lead assigned technical projects to drive value improvement, line extensions, and commercial compliance with quality systems and global regulatory requirements
- Build neurovascular-endovascular catheter/controller prototypes using a variety of equipment
- Through research, technical discussions, and interaction with SAB and R&D team members, conceptualize and/or prototype new product designs, add-ons, or enhancements
- Evaluate performance characteristics of new product designs and identify opportunities for new development or improvements based on customer feedback, technologies, and clinical needs
- Lead risk analysis activities and develop product testing plans and protocols; set up and run or lead product testing and protocols in accordance with project plans
- Create new test methods and perform Design Verification testing, preparing detailed reports and contribute to Design Validation activities (in-vivo and anatomical models) and usability studies (anatomical models, benchtop evaluation of prototypes)
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or related discipline and a minimum of 12 years of related experience in the medical device or related regulated industry; or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Experience in mechanical design, injection molded parts, catheter design, or similar electromechanical consumable devices preferred
- Statistical analysis Software (Minitab or similar) and CAD (Solidworks, ProE, similar). Demonstrated knowledge of and exposure to product testing and data collection
- Ability to be self-directed with minimal direction and supervision and take initiative to discern from multiple priorities when guiding a technical project team toward efficient solutions and opportunities; ability to multi-task efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to travel up to 10% domestically

This position is onsite and full time.
Pay
Salary Range: $189,000 - 213,000/annually
