Principal Quantitative Pharmacologist

About the role

As a Principal Quantitative Pharmacologist in Pharmacometrics (PMx), you will provide prospective PMx contributions supporting program development strategies across multiple experiments, studies, and clinical trials. You will design and conduct sophisticated quantitative analyses, keep PMx management informed of significant results, and serve as the PMx Program Representative on cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Prospectively design and conduct quantitative or other PMx analyses of a sophisticated nature that align with program development strategies.
• Keep PMx management advised of significant PMx results.
• Communicate sophisticated PMx results in clear, colloquial terms to development teams as the PMx Program Representative.
• Implement strategic PMx changes that impact program direction and regulatory interactions.
• Author PMx contributions to regulatory documentation (e.g., IBs, briefing documents for pre‑IND, EOP2, and other global Health Authority meetings) with limited mentorship.
• Prepare and deliver accurate, well‑articulated study reports and regulatory submission documents in a timely manner.
• Provide accurate tables and figures for senior‑management presentation slides.
• Independently draft and review documentation for accuracy, clarity, and messaging before PMx management review.
• Perform additional analyses as required to support regulatory interactions.
• Share scientific ideas and mentor PMx staff.
• Represent PMx at pre‑IND, Type C, pre‑BLA, and other Health Authority meetings with some supervision.

Requirements

• PhD with 5+ years of relevant experience, or an MS with comparable industry experience.
• Advanced expertise in pharmacokinetics, pharmacological principles, and non‑compartmental analysis methods.
• Familiarity with exposure‑response analysis, translational modelling/pharmacology, nonlinear mixed‑effects modeling, logistic regression, survival analysis, Bayesian approaches, and disease modelling/QSP (advantageous).

Pay

Salary range (annually): $150,500 – $245,500.

Schedule

Work location: Tarrytown, NY.
Work model/flexibility: 4 days per week onsite.
