About the role

This is a hands-on role for a senior software professional who will partner closely with developers, QA engineers, domain experts, and the Product Manager to deliver fixed asset management solutions that improve customers’ workflows and insights so they can focus on what matters most.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute directly to test strategy and hands-on functional testing based on business and technical requirements
  • Work closely with experienced domain experts, developers, and other QA engineers to support end-to-end testing across cloud and desktop products
  • Help improve release quality through hands-on test planning, execution, and clear communication of risks and tradeoffs
  • Contribute to improving test coverage, release confidence, and overall quality through thoughtful test design, execution, and continuous improvement
  • Serve as ScrumMaster for the team, leading daily stand-ups and helping the team stay aligned on priorities
  • Facilitate key team ceremonies and follow-through to support clear communication, accountability, and steady progress
  • Help identify and remove impediments, strengthen team workflows, and coordinate smoothly across teammates and stakeholders
  • Partner with teammates to maintain user assistance and product documentation
  • Develop and refine help content to improve the user help experience and strengthen the quality of responses from the product’s AI-assisted help chatbot
  • Cook twice-yearly release readiness and deployment across development, QA, support, and product stakeholders to support smooth, predictable delivery
  • Draft clear release notes and supporting documentation for internal Go-to-Market teams

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting, or a related field—or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, software development, or a related field, with a strong hands-on approach
  • Experience working effectively in Agile environments and collaborating within established team practices

Technical Skills

  • Understanding of software architecture, databases, and connectivity concepts relevant to application behaviour and testing
  • Interest in modern tools, including AI-assisted workflows, that improve efficiency, quality, and team effectiveness
  • Experience testing on-premises and cloud-hosted applications, or the ability to ramp up quickly in both environments
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools, including Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel, to support collaboration, release communication, and clear internal documentation
