About the role
This position is 100% onsite and supports the ALQ-161 Hardware section within the U.S. Air Force’s active fleet. The successful candidate will lead project management and program planning, track turn-around-times, draft CDRLs, and manage tasks as assigned by the Program Manager.
Responsibilities
- Leading projects and tracking turn-around-times
- Drafting CDRLs
- Managing tasks as assigned by the Program Manager
- Understanding customer demand and contract terms and conditions
- Leading program review sessions with customers to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance
- Overseeing cost reduction/continuous improvement initiatives
- Planning and managing program performance addressing cost, schedule, technical performance, and quality of a work package
- Understanding program financial targets and supporting the Program Manager in achieving financial goals and forecasts
- Supporting Program Manager in new business proposal efforts
Requirements
- Obtaining and maintaining a DoD Secret security clearance (not required to obtain before hire)
- Familiarity with Workload Forecast Tools and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Project
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years’ experience in project and/or program management
- A Master’s degree and 3 years’ experience in project and/or program management
- PhD and 1 year experience in project and/or program management
Skills
- Previous experience working with electronic warfare/aerospace hardware sustainment
- Experience with briefing, public speaking, and communicating across functional areas of expertise (engineering, operations, finance, etc)
- The ability to identify and address program impacts through a systemic, proactive approach to issues and problem resolution
- Previous work with drafting DoD proposals

$81,400.00 - $122,000.00
