Principal Project Manager

For our client, we are seeking a Principal Project Manager to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will guide complex enterprise technology delivery programs and digital transformation efforts across multiple workstreams. The Principal Project Manager will shape integrated plans, influence executive stakeholders, and help translate strategic objectives into executable roadmaps. This position also plays a key role in advancing delivery standards, balancing client strategy with execution feasibility, and supporting long-term engagement success. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $155,000 – $210,000 annually Responsibilities Lead complex programs and interconnected workstreams, establishing clear outcomes and integrated plans Define and evolve delivery methodologies and organizational planning standards Contribute to business transformation strategies and translate strategic goals into executable roadmaps Influence C-level stakeholders to shape program vision and investment decisions Develop long-term client engagement strategies leveraging delivery experience and market insight Act as a trusted adviser balancing client strategy and delivery feasibility Implement best practice RAID management to oversee portfolio risk Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience 10+ years leading enterprise technology delivery programs or digital transformation initiatives Experience in cloud transformation, application modernization, and microservices Strong understanding of SDLC practices, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines Expertise in Agile and traditional delivery frameworks, knowing when to apply each Advanced proficiency with Azure DevOps and Atlassian products; Smartsheet proficiency desired Proven ability to manage project budgets and financial performance Benefits Unlimited Paid Days Off Three health plan options 401k with company match Eligibility for dental, vision, and disability coverage Family Forming Benefit including fertility coverage Paid childbearing and paternal leave Education Reimbursement and Student Loan Assistance Sabbatical leave Wellness program Flexible work schedule Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
