Job Title: Principal Project Management Consultant Location: Atlanta, GA | Greenwood Village, CO | Honolulu, HI | Hyattsville, MD | Pasadena, CA | Pleasanton, CA | Portland, OR | Renton, WA | Washington, DC Work Arrangement: Onsite / Hybrid Salary: $184,500 – $278,600 annually + up to 20% performance bonus Job Summary We are seeking a Principal Project Management Consultant to lead large-scale, enterprise-wide transformation programs with significant business and technology impact. This role is ideal for a strategic project leader with strong executive presence, consulting experience, and a proven ability to drive complex initiatives from planning through implementation and stabilization. The successful candidate will lead cross-functional programs valued between $15 million and $50 million, aligning business objectives with technology solutions while managing budgets, risks, governance, resources, and stakeholder expectations. Healthcare industry experience is preferred. Key Responsibilities Lead complex, enterprise-wide programs and multiple interdependent workstreams from strategy and planning through execution, launch, and stabilizationTranslate business strategy into actionable project roadmaps, priorities, requirements, and measurable outcomesBuild strong relationships with senior business, IT, operations, financial, physician, and vendor stakeholdersInfluence executive decisions and drive alignment across teams without direct reporting authorityDevelop and manage program budgets, forecasts, resource plans, schedules, and business casesEstablish effective program governance, project management methodologies, performance metrics, and reporting processesIdentify and mitigate risks, issues, dependencies, and scope changes across complex initiativesMonitor program delivery against timelines, budgets, scope, quality standards, and strategic objectivesLead organizational change management, including stakeholder communications, implementation planning, user adoption, and trainingCoordinate cross-functional teams, allocate resources, resolve delivery obstacles, and provide guidance to project leadersDrive continuous improvement through process optimization, prioritization, and effective program executionManage third-party vendors, evaluate performance, support contract negotiations, and resolve vendor-related issuesPartner with executive sponsors and governance committees to facilitate decisions and maintain accountabilityCommunicate program progress, challenges, and recommendations to senior leadership Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field. Equivalent additional work experience may be consideredMinimum 10 years of experience managing projects or programs using established project lifecycle methodologies, including SDLC, process management, or organizational changeMinimum 10 years of experience managing project or program budgetsMinimum 8 years of experience managing programsMinimum 5 years of experience implementing large, complex projects in a corporate environmentMinimum 5 years of experience leading project teamsDemonstrated experience delivering large-scale enterprise programs, preferably involving application development and technology transformationStrong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and business case developmentExcellent executive communication, strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and influencing skillsProven expertise in program governance, risk management, change management, and cross-functional deliveryDemonstrated ability to deliver measurable business outcomes through complex transformation initiatives Would you like to know more about this opportunity?
