About the role

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Project Manager to join their team supporting a portfolio of programs focused on all-domain information management. This role is based in El Segundo, CA or Redondo Beach, CA.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional project teams to deliver initiatives on time, within scope, and on budget
• Translate high-level business objectives into detailed project plans, schedules, and risk mitigation strategies
• Conduct regular stand-ups, status reviews, and stakeholder briefings; provide transparent reporting using dashboards and metrics
• Apply Agile methodologies as appropriate, ensuring alignment with company processes
• Identify and resolve impediments, escalating issues when necessary to maintain project momentum
• Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and procurement of external vendors
• Foster a collaborative culture, leveraging leadership and mentorship

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 4 years’ experience, OR Master’s degree with 3 years' experience
• At least 2 years of experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule
• Demonstrated track record/experience in project management including cost, schedule, and technical performance management
• Experience working with and manipulating detail-oriented data
• Your ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Top Secret Clearance (DoD must be in-scope or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation)

Preferred Qualifications

• Program Management experience within the Aerospace and Defense industry
• Experience leading 10+ member cross-functional teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience with Earned Value Management
• Experience building strong relationships – both internally and with customers
• Demonstrable capability of working with minimal direction, independently determining, and developing technical objectives of assignments, and presenting work upon completion at high quality

Pay

Primary Level Salary Range: $94,200.00 - $141,200.00

Schedule

Travel: Yes, 10% of the Time
