About the role

Responsibilities
- Lead change-management activities, coordinating with engineering stakeholders to develop, review, and approve change packages.
- Conduct technical impact assessments and devise implementation strategies for engineering changes.
- Create and maintain detailed bills of material, part codes, and routing instructions based on engineering drawings and specifications.
- Develop and manage schedules for change-package development, approval, and implementation to meet mission timelines.
- Liaise with Configuration Management to validate change paths and ensure compliance with configuration baselines.
- Align demand forecasts with manufacturing and supplier capacities to guarantee timely fulfillment of customer requirements.
- Produce and distribute status reports and briefings to program leadership, IPTs, and external customers.
- Collaborate with the Chief Engineer’s office and Integrated Product Teams to capture impact data and drive successful change adoption.
- Support risk-reduction activities during the Technology Maturation phase by identifying potential technical issues and mitigation actions.
- Ensure documentation and records of change actions are maintained in accordance with DoD and company standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline and 5 years of relevant experience, OR a Master’s degree and 3 years of relevant experience, OR a PhD and 1 year of relevant experience.
- Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance, at time of application, current and within scope, with an investigation date within the last 6 years.
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret Clearance and Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
- Minimum 1 year of project-management experience and demonstrated knowledge of project-management fundamentals.
- Proficiency in MS Office together with excellent technical writing, communication, and team-building skills.
Qualifications
- Active DoD Top Secret Clearance and SAP approval.
- Understanding of systems-engineering principles and processes.
- Direct experience using the DOORS Requirements Management Database.
- Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) concepts.
- Subcontractor technical-oversight experience.
