Principal Program Manager - Site and Region Network Planning

About the role

OCI's Networking Planning organization is planning the growth of our existing and new regions. We are building a team of Technical Program Managers who possess an understanding of core network infrastructure, regional networking, inter-region networking, intra-region networking, and how multiple network layers work together. These include east-west fabrics, compute fabrics, metro inter-building connectivity, internet connectivity, and backbone between regions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain living documentation on planning the future of assigned regions for continued growth
• Document and present changes based on growth
• Run necessary space and power planning within a region for network growth or changes
• Provide executive-level readouts on regional growth and planning

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of understanding of networking infrastructure and how connectivity is managed within a cloud network
• Strong documentation and communication skills at a leadership/executive level
• Prior capacity management experience and network growth management experience
• Understanding of space and power needs, networking within space and power constraints, and leading growth over 1-3-5+ years
• Strong cross-functional skills

Pay

Hiring range in the U.S.: $90,100 - $209,500 per year. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
