Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end deployment of complex technology modernization programs with a wide range of initiatives and workstreams.
• Translate strategic ideas into executable plans and be accountable for delivery.
• Partner with business and program leads to ensure alignment to business goals and communicate technical strategy.
• Generate and maintain program plans/roadmaps that include current year key initiatives and outyear strategic goals.
• Deliver strategic outcomes by directing and scaling engineering efforts across functional teams and negotiating complex technical decisions and priorities.
• Implement program governance to manage risks, issues, and dependencies, control program financials, understand resource allocation (both ARC and vendor partner) and available capacity, and manage change.
• Provide thought leadership to communicate program plans/roadmaps, delivery progress, risks/issues, program financials, interdependency progress, priority changes and other aspects of the program to executives and peers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with preference for a degree in a technical field; equivalent experience considered
• 10 years of experience in project and program management, preferably within an enterprise technology organization
• 5+ years of IT project related experience preferred, including programs following traditional, scrum, and scaled agile management approaches
• PMP certification preferred
• Certification with Atlassian tools (i.e., Confluence/Jira) and Microsoft Project
• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale technology implementations is a must
• Strong knowledge of program management methodologies
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
• Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders, manage competing priorities, and drive projects to completion
• Passion for execution, intellectual curiosity, and overall collaboration
• Strong analytical capabilities to create and monitor metrics, proactively identify and mitigate risks
• Ability to negotiate and influence without authority
• Ability to examine complex problems, develop effective solutions, and gain buy-in from stakeholders and teams
