About the Role

Raytheon is seeking a Principal Specialist Program Cost Controls Analyst to support the SPY-6 Hardware Production and Sustainment (HP&S) contract within the Naval Radars subprogram. HP&S is the largest program in the Naval Systems and Sustainment portfolio, with projected sales of $0.7B in 2027 and a long-range forecast of $4B. This role offers growth opportunities within a dynamic, critical international program, working closely with senior leaders, program managers, and cross-functional teams to make sound financial and contractual decisions.

This hybrid position requires U.S. citizenship due to program access requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and support Estimate-at-Completion (EAC) on a quarterly basis.
  • Create accurate OWP and Cash Receipts forecasts for monthly, annual, and 5-year long-range planning processes.
  • Brief senior program and functional leaders on program financial status.
  • Review financial reports, presentations, and proposals for accuracy and completeness.
  • Drive efficiencies and agility in financial processes using digital technology tools.
  • Operate within company policies, business procedures, and ethical standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with at least 3 years of experience.
  • Experience with price variances, cost analysis, financial forecasting, and Microsoft Office.
  • U.S. citizenship is required for program access.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Estimates at Complete (EAC), program controls, scheduling, cash management, and financial planning/reporting.
  • Proficiency with SAP or similar financial accounting systems.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, with keen attention to detail.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $95,500 – $181,700 USD, depending on experience, location, and other factors.

Schedule

This is a hybrid role. Employees will work both onsite and remotely, with the onsite ratio determined in partnership with leadership. Commuting to the assigned site is the employee’s responsibility.
