Principal, Product Mgr - Tech, Advanced Analytics
We are seeking a Principal Product Manager - Tech to own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for a new product that provides customers with access to Amazon Ads data and solutions within a privacy-safe AWS Clean Rooms environment. This greenfield opportunity sits at the intersection of advertising data, privacy-enhancing technologies, and agentic AI, enabling sophisticated advertising customers to bring their own compute, run their own models, and orchestrate AI agents in a privacy-safe, customer-controlled environment.
About the Role
The Advanced Analytics team within MADS delivers sophisticated analytic solutions and programmatic interfaces to Amazon Ads' most strategic advertising customers—holding companies, independent agencies, technology providers, and enterprise advertisers. You will lead the product vision, strategy, and execution for a new product category, working across engineering, science, design, legal, privacy, and business development teams to define and deliver a platform built on AWS Clean Rooms.
Responsibilities
- Product Vision & Strategy: Own and articulate the end-to-end product vision, defining how customers access Amazon Ads data and solutions within their own AWS Clean Rooms environment to power measurement, optimization, and agentic AI workflows at scale.
- Privacy & Data Architecture: Define product requirements for privacy-safe data access, including governance policies, access controls, differential privacy mechanisms, and compliance frameworks that protect Amazon’s first-party data while maximizing customer utility.
- Agentic AI & Customer Compute: Develop the product strategy for enabling agentic AI workflows, including how customers deploy, orchestrate, and monitor AI agents that operate on Amazon Ads data within their own compute infrastructure.
- Cross-Organizational Leadership: Drive alignment across Amazon Ads, AWS Clean Rooms, MADS Engineering, Measurement Science, Developer Experience, and external customer organizations. Represent the product in executive-level discussions and strategic planning.
- Customer Engagement & Go-to-Market: Engage directly with holding companies, technology integrators, and large advertisers to understand their data collaboration needs and co-develop solutions. Define pricing models, onboarding experiences, and adoption mechanisms.
- Technical Depth: Lead engineering discussions on AWS Clean Rooms architecture, compute isolation models, data egress controls, and integration patterns with Amazon Ads’ data lake and API surfaces. Evaluate emerging technologies for applicability to the roadmap.
- Business Impact & Metrics: Define and own success metrics, including customer adoption, data utilization, agent workflow activation, revenue contribution, and privacy compliance. Drive experimentation to validate product-market fit.
- Thought Leadership & Mentorship: Act as a thought leader on privacy-safe data collaboration and agentic AI for advertising. Mentor product managers and embody Amazon’s Leadership Principles.
