Job Summary

We're looking for a Principal Product Marketing Manager to help drive how Drata brings products and capabilities to market. Drata's platform spans compliance automation, enterprise GRC, TPRM, trust center, and AI governance—a growing portfolio that requires coordinated, high-quality GTM execution across every launch. This is a senior role, no direct reports, high autonomy, and high impact. You'll support and contribute to end-to-end GTM planning and execution, keeping Product, Marketing, Sales, CS, and leadership aligned.

What You'll Do

  • Support and drive end-to-end GTM planning and execution for major launches, strategic feature releases, and cross-functional initiatives across Drata's product portfolio
  • Act as a product marketing DRI across Product, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Enablement—driving alignment and execution through influence and quality of work
  • Build and maintain launch plans, timelines, deliverables, dependencies, and readiness criteria so every stakeholder knows what's needed and when
  • Translate product plans and launch milestones into clear internal narratives, executive updates, and field-facing communication
  • NPI Process & Operational Rigor
    • Help run and improve the NPI process and related launch frameworks, templates, and governance on a day-to-day basis
    • Support tiering and readiness requirements across launch types—from net-new products to iterative feature updates
    • Partner with Product to ensure launches are grounded in customer validation, clear success criteria, and operational readiness before rollout
    • Build and maintain templates, task structures, and documentation that improve consistency and speed over time
  • GTM Communications & Executive Visibility
    • Contribute to the recurring communications cadence keeping GTM leadership, ELT, and the revenue org informed on launches, risks, milestones, and upcoming initiatives
    • Write and deliver crisp weekly updates across Slack, email, and presentation formats tailored to different audiences and detail levels
    • Surface launch risks, dependencies, and decisions early so leaders can act with confidence
  • Content, Assets & Field Enablement
    • Produce the core internal and external assets required for launches—messaging, decks, one-pagers, launch briefs, enablement materials, and executive-ready content
    • Maintain high-quality GTM slide repositories and launch materials used across product marketing, sales, and executive communications
    • Ensure assets are accurate, on-brand, and aligned to the latest product scope and audience needs
  • Cross-Functional Influence & Continuous Improvement
    • Gather field input, stakeholder feedback, and launch learnings to continuously sharpen messaging, process, and execution quality
    • Move between strategy, execution, and communication without losing momentum
    • Contribute to building a more repeatable, scalable launch discipline across the PMM team

What You'll Bring

  • 8+ years in product marketing, GTM strategy, launch management, or a closely related B2B SaaS role
  • Proven track record executing complex product launches across multiple teams and functions
  • Strong ability to build structure in ambiguous environments and turn process into execution
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills—especially for executive audiences and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Experience building messaging, launch content, and field-facing assets that support adoption and revenue outcomes
  • Strong project management instincts with the ability to manage multiple priorities, owners, and deadlines simultaneously
  • Comfortable operating at both strategic and highly hands-on levels
  • Experience in cybersecurity, compliance, GRC, risk, trust, or adjacent B2B SaaS is strongly preferred
