About the role

Datalign Advisory is a Cambridge-based fintech company building the comprehensive AI-native platform for how Americans find, evaluate, and work with financial advisors. We're looking for a Principal Product Manager, IC (Technical) to own our flagship product: Halo — an AI wealth management companion that gives consumers SEC-compliant, personalized financial guidance through coordinated AI agents, and connects them with fiduciary advisors when they're ready.

Responsibilities

  • Define the product roadmap for Halo based on consumer, advisor, and data insights.
  • Shape the consumer experience from first interaction through advisor connection.
  • Work directly with engineering and data science teams to ship Halo's multi-agent orchestration, compliance-grade infrastructure, and real-time financial data pipelines.
  • Measure success in a two-sided product where consumer and advisor experiences are deeply coupled.
  • Navigate compliance constraints as a feature, not a blocker.
  • Think in platform context and make decisions that reinforce and are reinforced by the rest of the Datalign ecosystem.
  • Made hard prioritization calls with limited resources.
  • Build great AI products with a deep understanding of underlying systems and regulatory requirements.
  • Talk credibly to both financial advisors and engineers.
  • Communicate effectively and concisely, especially within a small team.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in product management with technical product experience.
  • Experience shipping in regulated or compliance-heavy environments.

Qualifications

  • Use AI in own workflows and demonstrate its impact.
  • Operate in a high-bar engineering culture.
  • Match the rigor of a high-performing team with the agility of a startup.

Skills

  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Experience with AI-driven products, multi-agent systems, ML pipelines, or AI-powered consumer experiences.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary.
  • Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, and retirement savings plan.
  • Free commuting, parking, T Pass, or commuter rail pass.
  • Professional growth and development opportunities within a rapidly growing company.
  • Weekly lunches catered to the office.
  • Fully stocked kitchen.
