Principal Product Manager - Technical, Continuous Infrastructure Engineering

Description

Operations Infrastructure Services (OIS), part of Amazon’s Worldwide Operations & Robotics team, designs, deploys, and supports IT and Network infrastructure, devices, and Services across Amazon’s Global Fulfillment Centers, Transportation (Middle Mile, Last Mile & Logistics), and Specialty Customer Solutions (Amazon Fresh, Prime Now, Lockers, Pantry, Campus, and Prime Air). Our customers range from Amazon lockers to Amazon’s Air Hubs.

Responsibilities

• Own the product development of network onboarding products and services
• Drive the long-term vision through development of vision documents, definition of business requirements, launch and post-launch measurement
• Partner with strong technical stewards to align interests and implement scalable solutions
• Serve as a key player with partner teams across the company

Requirements

• Strong product management background
• Demonstrated experience guiding medium to large projects
• Self-starter comfortable with ambiguity
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics, computer science, operations research, business analytics, information systems or equivalent
• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
• Experience technical product management

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
• Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement
• Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
