Responsibilities

We are seeking a Principal Product Manager - Technical who will own and drive the end-to-end product strategy for EC2 accelerated computing instances, including GPU and Trainium-based solutions for AI/ML workloads. You will be responsible for full lifecycle product management of accelerated compute solutions purpose-built for:

  • Large-scale model training
  • High-performance inference
  • Generative AI workloads

Key job responsibilities

  • Lead the definition and execution of the product strategy for EC2 accelerated computing instances, including GPU and Trainium-based solutions for AI/ML workloads.
  • Define and gather the customer inputs to make high-quality product and roadmap decisions.
  • Work with leaders across AWS, Amazon, and our partners to deliver innovation all while working backwards from customer needs.
  • Define product requirements, priorities, methods for measurement and track their execution and success.
  • Communicate with senior management on project status, strategy, risks, and issues.
  • Work closely with multiple engineering teams and designers to deliver results to customer.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 7+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS or IaaS products where you are responsible for the full product lifecycle, from concept through GTM (go to market)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or electrical engineering
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
  • Experience as a strong leader who can prioritize well, communicate clearly and effectively influence across cross-functional teams
