About the role
Play a key role in the success of small businesses all over the world. Lead our International Payments strategy, driving global scale, local market relevance, and world-class customer experiences to expand our global footprint and unlock the next generation of global growth.
Responsibilities
- Set the global vision, strategy and product roadmap for international payments across multiple regions, including building core checkout and invoicing capabilities, unlocking net new feature capabilities, closing the product market fit gap, and delivering delightful UX experiences to solve the broad needs of our diverse global customer base.
- Define and own the key success metrics of global net new acquisition and global TPV (total payments volume) as well as maniacally focus on customer engagement and satisfaction.
- Partner with regional business leaders to understand localized needs while maintaining a unified global payments vision.
- Champion customer experience for global merchants, marketplaces, and SMBs sending and receiving payments worldwide.
- Influence cross-functional teams through clarity of strategy, crisp execution, and measurable outcomes.
- Drive rigorous prioritization and investment decisions necessary to deliver your team’s vision and roadmaps
Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Experience: A minimum of 10 years of product management experience; at least 3 years in the payments or financial technology industry is a plus.
- Impact Delivery: Proven track record of leading complex product initiatives that result in significant business growth.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams. Experience working with global teams is a plus.
- Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic planning skills with the ability to translate market insights into actionable product strategies.
- Customer Obsession: The ability to wear the customer’s hat at all times and be a customer advocate first
- Executive Presence and Influence: The ability to work closely with Senior and C-level executives to develop product strategy and gain alignment.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
