Principal Product Manager, Identity

As a Principal Product Manager for the Intuit Identity Platform, you will drive Authentication, Verified Identity Network, and Identity Proofing to empower all Intuit users to securely access their accounts and safeguard sensitive workflows. We seek creative candidates who thrive on solving complex problems through user experience data, translating real-life workflows, and defining high-scale services.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the vision and strategy for Intuit Identity Authentication, Verified Identity Network, and Identity Proofing.
• Provide product thought leadership by identifying critical customer requirements, understanding business goals, defining product end state, and collaborating with development teams to design optimal user experiences and scalable services.
• Coach a small team of product managers to elevate their craft and support their growth.
• Work closely with architects and engineers to design secure and scalable solutions.
• Take a data-driven approach to define success metrics, prioritize requirements, and communicate plans, progress, and outcomes.
• Experiment with data to influence business decisions and drive the roadmap from MVP to significant impact.
• Partner with program management to ensure project execution and delivery by managing dependencies across services and teams.
• Collaborate with Intuit business teams to align on requirements, priorities, and common goals.
• Engage with end-users to understand pain points and gather insights for solving customer problems in a delightful way.
• Represent the team in internal presentations, meetings, customer, and partner events.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience designing and delivering world-class platform products in a Product Management role, particularly in identity systems or large-scale enterprise applications.
• Proven track record of defining and delivering products that solve significant customer problems.
• Experience managing and coaching teams to achieve their best performance.
• Demonstrable technical depth in SaaS software development, including reading code, architecture, and design discussions, with strong collaboration with engineering and architecture teams.
• Success in taking a data-driven approach to deliver impactful business outcomes.
• Proficiency in program/project management and managing complex deliverables across multiple teams.
• Ability to develop and execute a successful product strategy.
• Experience with Agile methodologies as a product owner, establishing clear requirements through detailed epics.
• Proven ability to define big visions and inspire teams to deliver innovative and impactful products.
• Customer-focused approach with a track record of working closely with customers and partners to shape strategy and priorities.
• Excellent collaboration skills, including leading execution and influencing across teams and stakeholders.
• Inspiring communication skills for audiences ranging from small teams to executives and large groups.
• BS or technical degree required, or equivalent work experience.

Pay

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay-for-performance approach. This position may be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits. Pay is based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. The expected base pay range for this position in Mountain View is $243,000 - $328,500.
