About the role
The Principal Product Manager will lead the development of Owner's lifecycle marketing and loyalty systems, focusing on driving incremental growth revenue for tens of thousands of restaurant customers. This role involves developing the roadmap, building and scaling automated campaigns, and evolving the loyalty program to ensure each restaurant's unique brand shines.
Responsibilities
- Develop the roadmap for Owner's lifecycle marketing and loyalty platforms, balancing growth initiatives, experience improvements, and strategic bets.
- Increase guest retention and order frequency by building automated campaigns and loyalty mechanics that turn one-time guests into regulars.
- Lead the evolution of Owner's loyalty program, drawing on proven playbooks from leading restaurant chains and adapting them for independent restaurants at scale.
- Use AI to personalize marketing at scale, delivering the right brand-specific messages and offers to millions of guests across tens of thousands of restaurants.
- Drive measurable ROI through rigorous incrementality testing and attribution, ensuring customers can see and trust the value Owner’s marketing programs deliver.
- Deliver results for customers that help Owner.com become the most loved brand in restaurant software.
Requirements
- 8+ years of product management experience.
- Track record of shipping software that made a difference for customers.
- Good understanding of high-quality products and strong opinions on success.
- Skilled at uncovering customer needs through research.
- Effective at gathering and integrating quantitative and qualitative data.
- Comfortable handling ambiguity and clearly defining goals.
- Clear in both written and verbal communication, ensuring alignment among team members.
- Comfortable with technical complexity, able to understand product architecture and its implications.

- Experience in SMB software, particularly in lifecycle marketing and loyalty systems.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and meet deadlines.

Pay and Benefits
The estimated starting base salary range for this role is $280-300K, plus a generous pre-IPO equity package. Other benefits include comprehensive health coverage, remote-first workplace, unlimited PTO - plus extra fun perks!
