About the role

This role focuses on high-stakes enterprise engagements that require a blend of product judgment, technical fluency, and executive-level communication. You will help define what success looks like for complex customer situations, align internal and external stakeholders, and determine when a deployment should move forward versus be paused or ended. The position also requires building trust quickly, translating customer needs into clear deliverables, and partnering closely with engineering and commercial teams to drive the right outcome.

Responsibilities

  • Assess whether to proceed based on commercial or political blockers, ensuring the right work is prioritized
  • Commit in writing to deliverables and clarify what will not be built, maintaining transparency with customers
  • Manage high-level relationships with key decision-makers, including CIOs and CHROs, especially during critical situations
  • Clear technical gates that impact commercial decisions, influencing the deal team without carrying a quota
  • Lead a small squad of engineers, setting standards for engagement and documentation that others will follow
  • Conclude engagements with clear outcomes, whether transitioning to platform capabilities or terminating projects
  • Build prototypes independently to demonstrate concepts to customers before involving engineering

Qualifications

  • 9+ years in product management, solutions architecture, or a forward deployed role with enterprise accounts worth seven or eight figures
  • Proven track record of turning around struggling accounts with damaged trust or previous failures
  • Experience with enterprise deployments and navigating complex organizational challenges
  • Technical proficiency to understand APIs, data pipelines, and security requirements without needing to code
  • Strong executive communication skills, capable of delivering difficult messages to leadership without losing credibility
  • Experience in B2B2C environments, balancing the needs of enterprise buyers and end-users
  • Domain expertise in organizational transformation or talent intelligence is a plus
