Principal Product Cyber Security Architect

Responsibilities

• Guide product teams in designing secure architectures that include trust boundaries and data protection
• Develop reusable security patterns and reference architectures
• Review product architecture changes and provide actionable security recommendations
• Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments according to IEC 62443-3-2
• Create threat model outputs including threat analysis and risk ratings
• Utilize AI-assisted tools to enhance threat modeling and analysis processes
• Create deployment security guidance for secure installation and hardening
• Define security requirements and evaluate design reviews in alignment with the Secure Development Lifecycle
• Contribute templates and lessons learned to improve team efficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity with a focus on product, system, or architecture security
• Proven experience producing security architecture deliverables and threat models
• Knowledge of IEC 62443 standards, especially 62443-3-2, 62443-3-3, and 62443-4-1
• Experience creating secure development documentation such as requirements, hardening guides, and assessment reports
• Familiarity with Operational Technology (OT) and Industrial Control Systems (ICS) within the energy sector
• Strong written communication skills
