Principal Platform Integration Engineer
Active security clearance at the TS/SCI polygraph level is required.
About the role
We have an immediate need for a versatile Software Engineer specializing in the Atlassian Tools Suite. In this role, you will design, develop, extend, and maintain tools and custom services in direct support of Atlassian products, including Jira and Confluence. Working closely with cross-functional software developers, system administrators, project managers, and mission customers, you will build seamless integrations, develop custom plugins, and automate administrative workflows to enhance productivity across the enterprise.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Data Analytics, Intelligence Studies, Computer Science, Finance/Economics, or a related discipline, plus 7+ years of specialized data analytics or financial intelligence experience.
- OR Master’s Degree in a related field, plus 5+ years of specialized analytical experience.
- OR High School Diploma / GED, plus 9+ years of hands-on intelligence analysis, financial tracking, and data discovery experience in lieu of a degree.
Skills
Required
- Atlassian Plugin SDK: Direct experience using an integrated development environment and the Atlassian Plugin SDK (or similar framework) to build custom plugins and extensions for Jira and Confluence.
- Software Development: Recent, hands-on software development experience using both Java and Python.
- Administrative Scripting: Experience writing Bash and PHP scripts to automate administrative tasks, system maintenance, and data pipelines.
- Linux Environment: Strong command of the Linux CLI and standard operating system tools.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Experience applying IaC principles using automation tools such as Ansible.
- CI/CD & Containerization: Practical experience with continuous integration/deployment methodologies (GitLab CI) and containerization technologies (Docker).
- Version Control: Proficiency with Git for source code management, branching strategies, and team collaboration.
- Documentation: Demonstrated capability writing clear, comprehensive documentation for configurations, procedures, and system updates.

- Mission Application Sustainment: Experience sustaining and troubleshooting mission-critical applications deployed in enterprise Linux environments.
- Customer Interaction & Training: Experience directly engaging, training, or providing technical support to external customers and mission stakeholders.

Pay
The annual base salary range for this role is $199,000-$235,000 (USD), which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
