About the Role
We are seeking a Principal for P&C Insurance in North America with experience advising P&C Insurance client executives, both business and IT, and leading teams in digital transformation, process reimagination, platform modernization programs, AI, and internal/external consulting engagements. Applicants should have expertise in some of the following P&C industry areas:
- Property and Casualty Insurance Product Experience:
- Personal Lines (Vehicle/Auto, Motorcycle, Watercraft, Fire)
- Property Lines (Home, Renters, Condo, etc.)
- Commercial Lines (Property, Auto, Marine, General Liability, Business Insurance, Workers Compensation, Farm)
- Functional Areas: Product development, Product Consolidation, P&C Claims Management, and Distribution Management
- Experience with the latest trends and disruptive innovations in the insurance space, such as AI, embedded insurance, Uberization of Agency Models, touchless claims, and virtual agents
- Digital transformation programs or modernization programs
- Platform implementations, legacy transformation, and digitization of services across the P&C value chain
- Business operations in problem identification, analysis, and recommendation, including current state analysis, root cause analysis, developing insights, identifying solutions, and designing future state
- Process reimagination, process optimization, change management, and design thinking techniques
- Property and Casualty platforms like Guidewire, DuckCreek, Majesco, EIS, Applied Systems, etc.
Responsibilities
- Client Relationship and Development: Leads team interactions with clients, including senior-level clients. Anticipates and proactively addresses client needs, earning their respect and appreciation.
- Client Delivery: Leads client delivery teams, manages projects, and drives them to completion.
- Value and Expertise: Establishes a focus area and concentrates deployment and delivery in that area. Builds a track record and contributes thought leadership and IP.
- People Development and Learning: Mentors and develops consultants on delivery teams, ensuring they have the skills needed to execute and deepen their expertise. Meets regularly with counselees to help them understand strengths and weaknesses, set realistic targets, and establish development plans.
- Consulting Behaviours:
- Develops a focus area or specialization and builds a personal brand.
- Leads and mentors others, investing in the progression of junior consultants.
- Grows the Infosys network outside of Consulting and leverages relationships with CSG and other delivery units to enhance client solutions and identify new opportunities.
- Adapts behavior and language to stay effective in different environments.
- Stays abreast of market developments, identifies threats and opportunities, and proactively learns new skills to stay relevant.
- Leadership and Firm Development:
- Leads delivery teams effectively, providing direction, guidance, motivation, course correction, and air cover.
- Supports the development of innovative thinking.
- Understands Infosys Consulting business drivers and KPIs needed to build an effective and successful business.
- Represents Infosys through appropriate application of sales and marketing materials/publications (service offerings, blog posts, etc.).
- Plays a key role in practice or firm-building activities and takes bottom-line responsibility for deliverables.
- Sales: Supports Associate Partners and Partners in pursuit and proposal work. Identifies opportunities from client work and relationships and raises them to the appropriate Associate Partner or Partner for action.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience with 2 years of experience in comparable consulting services.
- Experience working across the insurance value chain.
- Candidates must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship (Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time).
- Ability to multitask, engage with stakeholders, plan effectively, and consistently achieve operational goals.
- Excellent relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to collaborate with resources in a global delivery model.
- Experience leading programs using Agile and/or hybrid methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
- Industry-related certification.
- Creative problem solver with a strategic mindset and the ability to collaborate with other team members.
Additional Information
Travel to client sites and for practice work efforts is required on an as-needed basis.
For candidates based in CA, WA, NY, IL, MN, or NJ, the estimated annual gross compensation range is $154,375 to $193,125.
