Principal Orchestration Engineer
About the role
For our client, we are seeking a Principal Orchestration Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space. This role will guide the technical direction for a broad portfolio of business applications that support a complex operational environment. The Principal Orchestration Engineer will serve as a subject matter expert, partnering with global teams to translate functional needs into scalable technical architecture and coordinated delivery. This position will also provide hands-on leadership across development efforts, code quality, and design alignment to help ensure successful outcomes across the application landscape. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.
Responsibilities
- Maintain responsibility for a large portfolio of applications
- Provide thought leadership as a subject matter expert
- Lead global coordination of resources as Technical Lead
- Deliver business software applications with complex solutions
- Translate functional specifications into technical architecture
- Serve as the principal technical contact for projects
- Mentor developers through code and design reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
- 12+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Expert knowledge of client/server networks
- Advanced leadership abilities
- Comprehensive knowledge of applications programming and design
Pay
Compensation: $135,000 – $160,000 annually
