About the role

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Principal Program Planning Scheduling Analyst (level 3) or Sr. Principal Program Planning Scheduling Analyst (level 4) to join our team. This individual contributor role focuses on developing and coordinating integrated master plans and schedules for revolutionary systems and programs.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares, develops, and coordinates the integrated master plan and integrated master schedule to meet all program objectives.
  • Ensures major projects and program schedules are horizontally and vertically integrated across company functional groups including finance, engineering, material, manufacturing, and quality.
  • Tracks plans and schedules, performs risk analysis, and identifies and resolves critical path and network logic conflicts.
  • Uses Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, earned value management, and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances.

Requirements

Level 3

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience in program planning, scheduling, and/or industry-related fields, OR
  • Master’s degree with 3 years of experience in program planning, scheduling, and/or industry-related fields, OR
  • 9 years of applicable work experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret clearance.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Project and detail development of an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) practices and ability to support implementation on programs.

Level 4

  • Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of experience in program planning, scheduling, and/or industry-related fields, OR
  • Master’s degree with 6 years of experience in program planning, scheduling, and/or industry-related fields, OR
  • 12 years of applicable work experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret clearance.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Project and detail development of an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) practices and ability to support implementation on programs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active DoD Secret clearance.
  • Experience in material cost management.
  • Experience with SAP and/or COBRA.

Pay

Primary Level (Level 3) Salary Range: $103,600.00 - $155,400.00

Secondary Level (Level 4) Salary Range: $129,300.00 - $193,900.00

Base salary offers consider scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions. Additional compensation may include overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses. Annual bonuses reward individual contributions and company results. Eligible employees may also receive Long Term Incentives.

Schedule

  • 9/80 work schedule.
