About the role

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst (Level 3) or Sr. Principal Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst (Level 4) to support our San Diego, CA or Palmdale, CA based team. This position requires a Secret clearance and participation in Continuous Evaluation.

Responsibilities

  • Interface with program managers, functional management, and cost account managers to provide financial and administrative support and analysis.
  • Establish and maintain Work Breakdown Structures for budgeted costs of work scheduled.
  • Maintain and justify estimates to complete.
  • Support internal and external reporting requirements for variance analysis.
  • Prepare government cost performance reports and prepare cost risk analysis/visibility reports.
  • Develop and analyze estimates to complete.
  • Prepare month-end reports.
  • Review EAC changes and validate their incorporation into the EVMS system.
  • Aid analysts in supporting CAMs for EVMS activities, including WBS alignment, time phasing of tasks, earned value methodologies, performance measurement, estimate to complete analysis, and variance analysis research and reporting.
  • Participate in monthly cost and schedule reviews, identifying pressures and opportunities, and developing recovery plans as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 5 years experience in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or industry related field OR Master's degree with 3 years experience in Business Management, finance, accounting, or related field.
  • Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance or higher (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).
  • The ability to obtain and maintain Program Access within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
  • Experience with Business systems (such as SAP, Cobra, etc.).
  • Financial forecasting experience with EVMS and government cost reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 8 years experience in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or industry related field OR Master's degree with 6 years experience in Business Management, finance, accounting, or related field.
  • Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance or higher (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).
  • The ability to obtain and maintain Program Access within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
  • Experience with Business systems (such as SAP, Cobra, etc.).
  • Financial forecasting experience with EVMS and government cost reporting.

Skills

  • Experience with AOP (annual operating plan) and LRSP (long range strategic plan) processes.
  • Understanding of US Government procurement and contracting, Cost Accounting Standards, and FAR.

Pay

Primary Level Salary Range: $94,200.00 - $141,200.00 Secondary Level Salary Range: $117,500.00 - $176,300.00
