Responsibilities
- People
- Create a positive team experience.
- Supervises consulting and compliance work delegated to staff and managers.
- Client
- Responds to client inquiries and requests from tax authorities.
- Develops new client relationships and works with Ryan global management team to expand the practice to other markets.
- Works with Ryan National Tax practice to develop new planning ideas and identify and assist in delivering tax saving refund opportunities to multi-national clients.
- Coordinates the delivery of National Tax services to Ryan multinational clients.
- Presents presentations to prospects and clients.
- Value
- Develops and executes National Tax consulting projects.
- Develops and supervises National Tax compliance projects.
- Serves as subject matter expert on National Tax in assigned jurisdictions / geographical areas.
- Contributes to thought leadership/webinars that strengthen Ryan’s brand in the marketplace.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Master of Tax or Juris Doctor degree in related field required with at least 10 to 12 years prior experience in a progressively complex tax accounting and research environment.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft® Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet navigation and research.
- Valid Passport required.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly supervises employees in the National Tax practice and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Firm’s policies and applicable laws.
