Principal Mission Assurance Engineer - 19079
Responsibilities
Lead teams with Corrective/Preventative action development, coordination, and successful implementation including verification of effectiveness.
Present to and coordinate with customer counterparts (i.e. DCMA, USAF) and program leadership.
Interfaces with manufacturing, engineering, customer, vendor and subcontractor representatives to ensure requirements and processes are met.
Engage with QMS and AS9100 requirements, Corrective/Preventative Action Request Methodologies, Customer Engagement, QMS Internal & External Audit Programs.
Lead RCCA activities including root cause analysis (i.e. 5 Why, 8D, Ishikawa (Fishbone), FMEA, etc.).
Requirements
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD security clearance (Secret, Top Secret; etc.).
Experience with quality management systems to support program processes, audits, and/or improvements.
Experience with performing RCCA analysis on product and process non-conformances.
Qualifications
- A Bachelors of Science degree with 5 years of experience OR a Masters with 3 years of experience OR a PhD with 1 year of experience.
- Strong data analysis and visualization experience.
- Experience with SPC or other process capability analysis methods for preventative engagement.
- Experience with Global Supply Chain, Supplier Management, or Software Development processes.
- Experience presenting to program or customer leadership.
- AS9100 Auditor Training.
Benefits
This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
An annual bonus is designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
