Principal Mgr-Sales Engineer

About the role

At Verizon, you'll partner with the sales team to understand customer needs and craft the best package of our services, including data, voice, security, IT, mobility, and professional managed services. Your focus will be on the technical aspects of solutions for new business customers, delivering the best technical solutions along with exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Understanding customer business challenges
• Developing the solution and designing the architecture to solve the customer need
• Establishing business cases and helping customers choose our solution
• Drafting agreements with pricing, service commitments, and technical specifications
• Making and managing technical program plans that deliver on promises
• Growing new business and existing accounts

Requirements

• Successful completion of motor vehicle report check is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Six or more years of relevant experience, including technical design and engineering experience, knowledge of wireless services, and experience selling technical solutions
• Valid driver’s license
• Eligibility to pass Motor Vehicle Record check

Pay

The annual salary range for the Illinois location(s) listed on this job requisition is $98,500.00 - $172,000.00.

Schedule

This is a mobile role, primarily working from customer or field locations, with occasional visits to a Verizon location for in-person training and meetings. Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40
