Principal/Lead Network Engineer — SAP RISE

For our client, we are seeking a Principal/Lead Network Engineer — SAP RISE to join the team of a leader in the Hospitals & Medical Centers space. This individual will play a pivotal role in shaping the network strategy for a major cloud migration environment, with a focus on secure, resilient connectivity and enterprise-scale architecture. The position will partner closely with infrastructure, security, SAP, and other cross-functional stakeholders to ensure the network design supports performance, compliance, and business continuity. This is a high-visibility opportunity to influence technical decisions at the executive level while guiding modernization across a complex healthcare organization. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $119,100 – $186,560 annually Responsibilities Design the end-to-end network architecture for the migration to SAP RISE Architect Azure network topology, including VNets and security configurations Design private connectivity using Azure ExpressRoute and site-to-site VPN Implement cross-VNet connectivity in collaboration with SAP teams Optimize network performance for SAP workloads and applications Design secure network segmentation to comply with security standards Plan and implement network connectivity for SAP integration points Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field 10+ years of experience in network engineering roles Deep expertise in cloud networking, SD-WAN, cybersecurity, and enterprise architecture Leadership certifications or experience such as TOGAF, ITIL, or PMP Exceptional communication and leadership skills for stakeholder engagement Benefits Opportunity to lead a program-critical role during a major cloud migration Work with cutting-edge technologies in Azure and SAP RISE Collaborate with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders Participate in strategic decision-making at the executive level Professional growth through leadership and mentoring opportunities Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
