The role of a Principal Product Manager is to work with business and IT leaders in defining the capabilities needed to support the growing customer success organizations at Palo Alto Networks. This role will also be responsible for transforming these capabilities defined into specifications or user stories for software developers.

Qualifications

  • 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 5 years of experience.
  • Overall 8+ years of experience in the Data/Analytics Domain.
  • Experience in Product management including managing delivery of data, analytics, or AI products from start to finish.
  • Must have worked in Sales or Post-sales systems or analytics teams in the past.
  • Strong background in AI/ML and well-versed in LLMs.
  • Excellent attention to detail and proven ability to build simple, elegant and impactful Executive dashboards/products.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced and ambiguous environments.
  • Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills and a master influencer through the use of data.

  • A collaborative, team player with a can-do approach.

Compensation

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $158,500 - $208,000/YR. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.
