Responsibilities
- Develops, and administers security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment.
- Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations.
- Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies.
- Prepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials.
- Conducts security education classes and security audits.
- Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of the NISPOM and DoD SAP Manuals
- Security database updates within the Security Information Management System (SIMS)
- Access to DISS for clearance verification for SCI and/or SAP processing
- Assist the site Industrial Security Team and programs as needed
Qualifications
- 5 years of Security experience with Bachelor's; OR 3 years with Master’s OR an additional 4 years of applicable work experience may be substituted for bachelor’s degree
- Candidate must have and be able to maintain an Active U.S. Government security clearance at the Top Secret level with a background investigation date within the last 6 years
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in Foreign Military Sales Contracts, Offsets, and collaboration with foreign disclosure office
- Prior experience leading proposal efforts: writing Basis of Estimates, Labor forecasting, SOW review
- Prior experience with ITAR/Export compliance
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrate a positive working relationship with internal and external customers
- Working knowledge of Corporate and Govt. systems: NISS & SIMS
