About the role
The Principal GNC Engineer will lead the development and implementation of guidance, navigation, and control systems for advanced space missions. This role requires a deep understanding of spacecraft dynamics and control algorithms.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and integration of GNC systems for new spacecraft projects
- Develop and test control laws for autonomous spacecraft operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, electrical, and software engineers
- Contribute to the analysis and optimization of mission trajectories
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in spacecraft engineering
- Experience with spacecraft dynamics, control theory, and trajectory optimization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Proficiency in MATLAB and Python for simulation and analysis
- Experience with spacecraft control systems and algorithms
- Knowledge of spacecraft dynamics and orbital mechanics
- Understanding of spacecraft power systems and thermal management
Skills
- Advanced knowledge of spacecraft control systems
- Experience with spacecraft trajectory optimization
- Strong programming skills in MATLAB and Python

Pay
Salary range: $120,000 - $150,000 annually, depending on experience
Schedule
Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM
