Job Duties And Responsibilities Candidates must be willing to participate in at least one in-person interview. Managing transport network expenditures requires reconciling complex multi-carrier billing structures against intricate contractual terms. This role addresses the challenge of financial leakage by executing meticulous invoice audits and consolidating disjointed tracking workflows. By centralizing operations previously managed across separate functions, this position bridges the communication gap between technical network teams, corporate finance, and executive leadership. Ultimately, these efforts secure the financial integrity of transport network operations and drive long-term cost-efficiency. What Success Looks Like (Objectives) Audit and validate high-volume carrier transport invoices to eliminate contractual discrepancies, reduce billing errors, and authorize timely paymentsConsolidate and streamline historically fragmented network expenditure workflows, reducing processing cycle times and establishing centralized controlsPartner with Legal and Executive teams to deliver predictive financial modeling, variance analyses, and data-driven insights for strategic planningDevelop and maintain collaborative financial dashboards to monitor transport network ROI and ensure strict alignment with departmental budgetsLeverage AI-driven data analysis tools to automate routine invoice anomaly detection and enhance the speed of forecasting processes Skills, Experience And Requirements Core Skills and Competencies (What you’ll bring) Mastery of advanced Excel capabilities, including Power Query, nested formulas, and data modeling techniques for high-volume data manipulationDeep expertise in variance analysis, trend forecasting, and cost-benefit modeling within the telecommunications or logistics sectorsExceptional analytical abilities to synthesize massive, complex datasets into clear, actionable financial intelligence for senior leadershipStrong interpersonal and communication skills to serve as an effective bridge between technical network operations, legal counsel, and corporate financeAI literacy and application skills, specifically the ability to utilize generative AI and automated analytics tools to optimize financial workflows and data interpretationCritical experience managing end-to-end transport financial audits and navigating enterprise-level accounts payable workflows Additional Qualifications Familiarity with enterprise-level ERP software and Accounts Payable (AP) systems Minimum Requirements Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related fieldMinimum Experience: 10+ years of experience in financial analysisRequired Technical Skills: Must have at least 10+ years of experience with:Advanced Excel data manipulation (such as PivotTables, Power Query, and complex nested formulas)High-volume invoice auditing and contract compliance verificationFinancial variance analysis and trend forecasting Visa sponsorship not available for this role Salary Ranges Compensation: $96,250.00/Year - $137,500.00/Year Benefits We offer versatile health perks, including flexible spending accounts, HSA, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, career opportunities, and a flexible time away plan; all benefits can be viewed here: EchoStar Benefits. The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
