Principal Equipment Engineering Project Manager

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manages the day-to-day project schedule for the design and build or design and overhaul of Rail vehicle equipment.
• Sets project goals and timelines, coordinates resources, and ensures project deliverables are met.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams, such as Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and Research and Development, to ensure seamless integration of equipment into production processes.
• Provides technical expertise, troubleshoots issues, and implements process improvements to optimize equipment performance and efficiency.

Education, Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related area.
• Six (6) years of progressive responsible experience in maintenance, repair, and/or design of Rail vehicle equipment.

Skills

• Knowledge of Rail vehicle equipment design, maintenance, and repair.
• Ability to manage project schedules and resources effectively.
• Experience with cross-functional collaboration and process improvement.
• Technical expertise in Rail vehicle equipment.
